It sucks.
It will ruin your integrity.
There is no such thing as an UNINTENTIONAL plagiarism.
NO. SUCH. THING.
If you are going to issue an apology... GET IT RIGHT the first time.
Do not go, "I'm sorry. It's my fault, but not really. I feel bad, it was a mistake. But not really. I'm super sorry."
"Oh let me try again, I'm sorry. But you see, I was confused and inspired. Therefore, it's kind of my fault. So I'm sorry."
GAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nope, not gonna work.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Calum! :)
DeleteI agree with you. What she did wasn't right at all, and she shouldn't dodge the blame like that. I mean, it would've been much better if she just said that she REALLY was wrong and not try to shift the blame away.
ReplyDeleteLoved this, btw. :)

ReplyDeleteHa! I shall now screenshot this comment for motivational purposes. ;)
DeleteI heard about the whole plagiarizing thing that happened recently.. still totally shocked. I can't believe she would do that and actually think she would get away with it, like come on. And aren't we blogging to tell people our own personal opinions on books etc? Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteI think she actually thought she'll get away with it. Guess, she underestimated bloggers as well.
Deleteohhhh sino dali. kwento na heheh

I'm still a bit shocked about it. And the fact that a lot of people just accepted everything, because she is such a big blog. If, for example, I would do such a thing, I think I'd better stop blogging. And thanks for the sites, I'm going to check them out right away!
